The Outreach Committee is charged to do the following:

• Identify and determine community (JHU and Baltimore) needs;
• Identify opportunities of interest to BFSA membership in supporting the community;
• Recruit members to serve in outreach endeavors;
• Recognize and reward volunteers (certificates, letters, plaques, etc.)

The committee is planning a very busy agenda for  the 2009 - 2010 term .  Listed below are a few outreach activities/programs/drives this committee plans to offer the community.

• Annual Back-to-School Drive - Aug 2009
• Holiday Food drive - Nov
• Winter Outerwear Drive -  Dec. 1st -19th
• 2009 Kwanzaa Celebration - Friday December 4, 2009, Carpenter Room, School of Nursing
• Juneteenth - Friday  -  June 18th, 2010

Membership is accepted at any time and is open to all members of the Hopkins community who wish to be informed and involved. The membersip fee is still $10.00.  To Join Select the Membership Tab Above.
